But there was a massive disconnect in my life: while I was spending my days in lecture halls studying human biology and cellular structures, my evening skincare routine was actively destroying the exact cellular defense mechanisms I was learning about.


We are culturally conditioned to treat acne as something that needs to be scorched off the face.
